Workshop

The workshop is approx. 80 m2, bright and with good worktables.

To use the workshop, knowledge of graphic processes is required.

facilities

Two gravure presses with plates up to respectively 80×120 cm and 50×60 cm.
A lithographic press for lithography. (There are several stones available at the workshop.)
Etching bath, iron chloride for zinc.
A separate section for photogravure with a vacuum press for max. A3 format.

NOTE

The museum has only a limited amount of paper and ink at disposal. Therefore, you are asked to bring your own materials and tools or order them with postage paid to be delivered at: Kirsten Kjærs Museum, Grafisk Værksted, Langvadvej 64, 7741 Frøstrup.

The Graphic Workshop has been established in 2001 and was expanded in 2007 with support from Viborg County. In 2020, improvements have been made with supported by the LAG funds.

COSTS

You can apply for membership for one or more of Kirsten Kjærs Museum’s workshops.
The fee is 365 DDK per year and per workshop, entitling you to free use of that workshop.

If you do not want to become a member of Kirsten Kjærs Museum’s Workshops, the fee is DKK 50 is per day of use of the workshop.

Firing of ceramics is always settled separately.
If you want to stay overnight in the “Guest House”, this has to be agreed separately.
