Kirsten Kjær’s Museum’s guesthouse is meant as housing for the artists working and performing at or for the museum and for all the vountary helpers at the museum.

The guesthouse, a former 150 year old farmhouse, has 16 beds in 7 rooms. The central area of the house consists of a large kitchen and a big living room. Here in particular you can find a grand piano and a there is a workstation with computer and printer available. The guesthouse is connected with the museum’s graphic workshop and metal workshop.
Just outside the door you have a splendid view over the Tømmerby Fjord and a large terrace where you can enjoy the surroundings, barbecue, etc. during the summer.
Please, bring your own bedding and towels.

guesthouse-insideGroups: It is possible for groups to rent the guest house for courses or other projects. You will enjoy the simple but beautiful surroundings of great peace and tranquility. Groups can be offered a special price. In less busy times it is also possible to have meals arranged.

Terms of use for the guesthouse:

The daily rate  is 125,- DKK per day per person. After one week residency, one can instead of paying, help with practical work for two hours a day. The museum is run by volunteers and we always need helping hands!
