Kirsten Kjær's Museum's guesthouse is meant as housing for the artists working and performing at or for the museum and for all the vountary helpers at the museum.

The guesthouse, a former 150 year old farmhouse, has 16 beds in 7 rooms. The central area of the house consists of a large kitchen and a big living room. Here in particular you can find a grand piano and a there is a workstation with computer and printer available. The guest house is connected with the museum's graphic workshop and metal workshop.
Just outside the door you have a splendid view over the Tømmerby Fjord and a large terrace where you can enjoy the surroundings, barbecue, etc. during the summer.
Bed linen, towels, dish cloths, toilet paper and firewood are available.

Terms of use for the guest house:


The daily rate from April to October is 125,- DKK per day and person. There are possibilities to help with practical work for some hours, that can replace all or part of the resident's expenses. The museum is run by volunteers and we always need helping hands!

 

Groups: It is possible for groups to rent the guest house for courses or other projects. You will enjoy the simple but beautiful surroundings of great peace and tranquility. Groups can be offered a special price. In less busy times it is also possible to have meals arranged.
