Artists in Residency
Visual and performing artists can apply for residency at Kirsten Kjærs Museum.
You will be accommodated in the museum’s guest house in your own room but will share a kitchen and bathroom with others. The standard is simple, and you are requested to bring your own bed linen and towels.

THE WORKSHOPS
Kirsten Kjærs Museum’s workshop facilities are primarily intended for practised visual artists; but at times classes and workshops are held.
All activities are published on social media and on our website, under the menu item “Other”.
It is also possible to book an entire workshop, should you need a lot of space and peace of mind.

Ceramics workshop

COSTS
You can apply for membership for one or more of Kirsten Kjærs Museum’s workshops. The fee is 365 DDK per year and per workshop, entitling you to free use of that workshop.
If you do not want to become a member of Kirsten Kjærs Museum’s Workshops, the fee is DKK 50 is per day of use of the workshop.
Firing of ceramics is always settled separately.
If you want to stay overnight in the “Guest House”, this has to be agreed separately.
Workshops and classes
Kirsten Kjærs Museum occasionally holds classes and workshops in graphics, ceramics and bronze casting (ciré perdue).
They are primarily aimed for building artists, as well as for schools and institutions.

Should you have different ideas for classes and workshops, you are very welcome to contact the respective workshop manager.
