Efter forestillingen inviterer de to aktører til en samtale, hvor de fortæller om deres overvejelser, som de har undersøgt og bearbejdet i “do we pray enough”.
Tatiana Zuccolotto, Victoria Hauke:
“During an intense working period at Kirsten Kjærs Museum Victoria and Tatiana explored the concept of praying. What can it imply, when it is not synonymous with a religious matter?
Could it be that in this over-technologized society of today, the essence is to keep an incorruptible magic alive? A powerful and incorruptible inspiration?
Listen to the fox barking wildly. Do you hear the hiccups of the leaves in full and lush summer rain? Can you hear the in all enclosed beauty of the mourning for life?
Reed, a natural material from the area of Thy, whose function is settled for eras as a material for building and shelter, is used as a material for transformation. Creating a moving landscape, the aim is to challenge known patterns of interaction and to unveil new options.
The room shakes with disengaged energy and the two performers give themselves to dancing, grunting and whispering the song. Of the wild. Of intuition and the erotic. Of the magic of contradictory forces within.
Or is it a prayer?”
