I løbet af en intens arbejdsperiode på Kirsten Kjærs Museum udforskes begrebet ‘at bede’. Hvad kan det indebære, når det ikke er synonymt med et religiøst anliggende?

Kunne det tænkes, at essensen i nutidens overteknologiserede samfund er at holde en uforgængelig magi i live? En kraftfuld og uforgængelig inspiration?

Lyt til ræven, der gør vildt. Hører du bladenes hikken i fuld og frodig sommerregn? Kan du høre den indesluttede skønhed i sorgen over livet?

Siv, et naturmateriale fra Thy, hvis funktion har været fastlagt i umindelige tider som materiale til byggeri og læ, bruges som materiale til transformation. Ved at skabe et bevægeligt landskab er målet at udfordre kendte interaktionsmønstre og afsløre nye muligheder.

Rummet ryster af frigjort energi, og de to performere giver sig hen til at danse, grynte og hviske sangen. Om det vilde. Om intuition og erotik. Om magien ved modstridende kræfter indeni.

“During an intense working period at Kirsten Kjærs Museum Victoria and Tatiana explore the concept of praying. What can it imply, when it is not synonymous with a religious matter?

Could it be that in this over-technologized society of today, the essence is to keep an incorruptible magic alive? A powerful and incorruptible inspiration?
