Many of you will already know of the passing of dear John Anderson. But for those of you who did not know, he died peacefully in the early hours of the 15th November departing this world accompanied by music and loving thoughts.
There was a private farewell by his coffin at the museum, just a day and a half after his death. Local priest Lone Olsen beautifully took care of this while two friends Marius and Anna, played and sang.

A short ceremony will take place in the afternoon Saturday 12th December at 2pm.
This will be followed by a short concert dedicated to John in his very own Hall at Kirsten Kjaers Museum.

To all those who inevitably will find this date difficult but who would like to pay their respects it is intended that a further concert in his honour be set up in the Spring.

But we also suggest simply thinking of Langvad and John and Harald with love in your hearts on that day at that time – that will be a powerful thing.

As per John and Harald’s stated wishes it falls on violinist and dear friend Thomas Bowes to arrange the concert. It is all being planned right now, and more will be posted here, as soon as possible.
